Data Deletion

Important: Deleting your data will immediately revoke our access to your Instagram account and delete all stored tokens and cached results. This action cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Data

To comply with Facebook Platform rules, we provide the following ways to remove your information:

Option A: Manual Revocation (Recommended)

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy.
  2. Click on Apps and Websites.
  3. Find InstaContest and click Remove.

Option B: Request Deletion via Email

Send an email to support@instacontest.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include your Instagram Username or the email used for login.

*We will process all email requests within 24 hours.

What is deleted?

When you request deletion or remove the app, we purge:

  • Your encrypted Access Token.
  • Any cached comment data from your posts.
  • Your profile name and avatar URL from our database.
