1. Data We Collect

InstaContest only accesses data essential for running your giveaways. Through the Instagram Graph API and Meta OAuth, we receive:

• Your Instagram Business Account ID and profile name.
• Public comments on posts you explicitly select to analyze for contests.
• Participant usernames for the purpose of winner selection.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used strictly for the following:

• Identifying unique participants in your contests.
• Ensuring winners meet your specific entry criteria (e.g., specific keywords).
• Storing your secure access token in our database to allow high-volume fetches (80k+ comments).

3. Data Security

We take security seriously. All access tokens are stored encrypted in Vercel Postgres. We never see or store your Instagram password.

4. Data Deletion

You can revoke our access at any time through your Facebook App Settings or by visiting ourData Deletion page. Upon request, we will purge all associated tokens and cached data from our servers within 24 hours.
